Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) is a public technical and research institute established in 2009 in Kamand Valley, Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh. It is an Institute of National Importance under the Government of India’s Ministry of Education. IIT Mandi offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral education, with a focus on engineering, science, interdisciplinary research, innovation, and technology development.
Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is a second-generation Indian Institute of Technology located in the Himalayan region of Himachal Pradesh. Its permanent campus is situated at Kamand and Salgi villages, approximately 14 km from Mandi town, beside the Uhl River. The institute's vision is to advance science and technology education, knowledge creation, and innovation while contributing to society.
