Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam (IIIT Kottayam) is a public technical institution operating under a Public–Private Partnership model. Established in 2015, it is located at Valavoor, Pala, in Kottayam district, Kerala. The institute was declared an Institute of National Importance under an Act of Parliament in 2017. It provides technology-focused education, research and innovation opportunities in computer science, electronics and communication engineering, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data science, and related disciplines.
The Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, established through the Public–Private Partnership initiative for developing advanced information technology education and research. The institute began admitting students in 2015 and operates from its campus at Valavoor, Pala, Kottayam, Kerala.
IIIT Kottayam offers undergraduate programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science with specialization in Cyber Security, Computer Science with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and Mathematics and Computing.
